Aug. 5, 1972 – Aerosmith Plays Max’s Kansas City
Aerosmith paid to secure a spot on the bill at New York’s Max’s Kansas City and invited Columbia Records president Clive Davis to watch them perform. Davis was impressed, helping lead to the band’s first major record deal.
